Adult Summer Reading
June 23 - August 1
This year there will be 6 books to read of your own accord from either checking out of a Library, reading on a mobile device with an online app such as Libby or Kindle, or purchasing it. There will also be an activity that revolves around that book, and a personal activity. Pick up your reading log and get started. The personal activity is we want you to take a selfie or have a photo taken of you reading somewhere outdoors, then post it to Facebook with the caption "CCPL Summer Reading 2025" and tag the Carter County Public Library so we can share it out. Then once you have finished the book you can stop in to get the activity that goes with the book. Once you've done that the final step is getting a stamp once it has all been completed and confirmed. Each book will get you one entry into the End of Summer Reading Drawing, giving a total of 6 entries possible. All entries must be done by 8/1 at 4pm. Happy Reading!
