***Essay Contest***
All Middle and Hight School age children at West, East, or Home Schooled in Carter County had the opportunity to participate. It was advertised in the schools, in the Newspaper, on the website, and on Facebook.
The contest is now over and judging has begun. The winners will be announced on 5/10/24, prizes may be picked up at the Olive Hill branch any time after winners are announced.
We would like to give a big thank you to all the people who helped encourage the students to enter the contest, shared a post, or spread the word. A BIG thank you to the students who took the time to enter and write some pretty good essays.

Carter County Poetry Society Annual Contest
The CCPS has begun their annual poetry contest. You can stop in at either branch to pick up a brochure with the rules and regulations and info you will need. All entries are due by 7/29/24. Happy Writing!

Regular Weekly Meets
Homeschool Group - Grayson Monday 12pm come out and make new friends and learn about homeschooling.
Cancelled Meetings - There have been some recent changes to the schedule, the Olive Hill Homeschool Group and Bruce's Magazine Club have both decided to end their meetings for the time. We would like to thank them and anyone else who participated for coming in and if there is a time that they decide to start again we will let everyone know. If there are any questions please call 286-8070.
