Activities for the Week of
July 7th through July 13th



Plan your week accordingly, here's what's going on. Find an event to attend, or a club to join, or just stop in at one of the branches to see what great finds you can get your hands on. 

Abstract Background

Summer Reading!

Week 6- 7/10 at 12, both branches. Country of the week is Russia. We will have a story, activity, food item from that country. Also, every child gets a free school lunch.

KCU Virtual Summer Reading

Week 6, Europe is available 7/8. Go to our Summer Reading page and scan the QR code to check out the new activities.

Adult Summer Reading

Our adult summer reading logs are available at either branch. Pick one up today and start reading! Turn it in for 1 entry into the prize basket drawing, one per branch sponsored by Olive Hill or Grayson book club. You will get a book mark as well. Happy Reading!

Fafsa Application Assistance

Rachel Roar will be assisting anyone who is in need of help filling out their fafsa applications. She will be at the Olive Hill branch July 11, 18, 25 from 2-4.

American Sign Language (ASL) Classes

This will be at the Olive Hill branch July 11, 18, 25 from 1-2.


CCPL Board Meeting (special)

This meeting will be held at the Olive Hill branch at 6pm on 7/11.

Carter County Poetry Society Annual Contest

The CCPS has begun their annual poetry contest. You can stop in at either branch to pick up a brochure with the rules and regulations and info you will need. All entries are due by 7/29/24. Happy Writing!

Homeschool Group - Grayson Monday 12pm come out and make new friends and learn about homeschooling.
