Home School Mentorship

The Carter County Public Library hosts the Home School Mentorship program to help provide new homeschoolers in our area with a network of support that will ensure their continued success in educating the future of our community. The program works by pairing new homeschooling families with experienced homeschool instructors and encouraging or facilitating regular communication between the mentor and participants to help establish curriculum, best practices, etc... Because homeschooling is unique to each family, we work with participants to match them with a mentor who understands their needs and is best suited to assist them.

If you are a new homeschooling family, please fill out the participant program application located below. This form allows us the chance to pair you with a homeschooling professional who best suits your needs. Please complete the check list at the top before returning the completed form. Please email us to request the new homeschooler kit via email at cartercountylibraries@gmail.com

If you are already an experienced homeschooler, please consider filling out our Mentor Questionnaire, located below, and we will pair you with new homeschool families who desperately need YOUR support to thrive in a new educational system.
